Medicine Bow Half Marathon - Cheyenne (Usa/Wyoming)
The course of the "Medicine Bow Half Marathon" is hilly, out-and-back, on 100% dirt and gravel roads in Medicine Bow National Forest located between Laramie and Cheyenne. It begins at 8700 feet and drops to 8000 feet at the turn around. Weather is variable. Temperature is 40-60 degrees. The course closes at dark unless special arrangements have been made with the race director. The marathon is the oldest in the State and the double marathon is the oldest ultra in the Rocky Mountain region.
