ASICS Half Marathon - Gold Coast (Australia)
The "ASICS Half Marathon" is held as part of the "Gold Coast Airport Marathon" running festival on the first Sunday in July each year, on the very fast, flat and scenic Gold Coast course. The race starts in the beautiful and spacious Southport Broadwater Parklands and heads north along the Gold Coast Highway. Runners will enjoy the spectacular views of the Broadwater, go past the historic Grand Hotel and a number of public parks before reaching the turnaround point in the quaint waterside suburb of Paradise Point. There are traditionally plenty of spectators cheering on the runners on the course that is certified by Athletics Australia and AIMS.
